The recommended XOM puts were not officially triggered. Some subscribers bought them anyway, but I only consider options open if they are officially triggered.

Stocks moved lower, as weak housing data got the blame. Expect volatile price movement ahead, as sellers grab the advantage.

Stocks bounced a bit, early in today’s trading, to test resistance from Friday’s negative session.  As we anticipated (see my recent bulletins), sellers stepped up to assert their advantage.  Support steadily gave way and markets closed looking sharply lower.  In my opinion, sellers look ready to establish a solid down trend. Stock indexes are right at resistance. If resistance proves strong, as I think it is likely to, will underlying support give way and trigger a sharp decline? I say, "Yes." As always, monitor your positions closely.
